It's Hammer Time

Jeroen Haamers, frontman of Batmobile, recently uploaded a bunch of clips he recorded with a web-cam to his YouTube acount. No, not those kind of clips you like to watch when you are alone in the room and the door is locked. It's Jeroen playing an acoustic guitar and singing some of his favourite songs. And yours. At least mine. Like Del Shannon's 'Runaway' or Elvis' 'I Just Can't Help Believing'. Here's the link to his account. Enjoy!

Straight from Switzerland come THE PEACOCKS! Explosive, rockabilly influenced, stand up bass driven punk rock.
The Peacocks first hit the scene running in 1990. Back then the band was Hasu on guitar, Adi on drums and Michi on double bass. It was very rockabilly orientated poppy psychobilly disc with lots of switch ups.
This line-up lasted some 5 years and did some seven inches the first album "Come With Us" and also played more than 100 shows over Europe. Right before the first US/Canada-tour, Adi decided to leave and that tour only happened because third brother David knew all the songs and stood in as a drummer. The tour was quite successful and a new drummer called Toni joined soon after.
Around 1997 the Peacocks started to tour almost everywhere including Japan, the US, Canada and every European Country. They recorded two more albums “In Without Knocking” and “Angel”. Both records did great in North America and with their "Angel" release, the band signed to Asian Man Records.
Early 2002 Toni had to leave the band because he couldn't tour anymore. With 3 kids he decided it's better to have a proper job. It took quite a long time to find a new drummer, but by the end of 2002 JÜrg joined the Peacocks and the band kept rockin' on.
In 2004 The Peacocks released “It's time for...The Peacocks” on 5 records labels in 5 countries and 3 continents. They toured again in almost every country in Europe, did tours in Canada and a Japan.. The band stayed on after their last US tour to record their People Like You Records debut album at Sonic Iguana in Lafayette Indiana called "Touch and Go". 2008 People Like You Records still had strong leftovers of the "Touch & Go Sessions" and decided to support the hard touring with the Mini Output "Gimme More". After worldwide touring the new record "After All" was finished and will hit the stores middle of march 2010...
